How to UCAS 2021

On the evening of the 26th of October, STEMaccess launched its first ‘How to UCAS’ session led by co-founders and tutors, Kyle and Rhodes.

The course covered in detail the university application process, how to find the right university and course, the ins and outs of personal statement writing, and common mistakes found in a personal statement. Scattered throughout the session were also a multitude of top tips and tricks from the co-founders, both from first-hand experience of the process and having mentored many A-Level students through their university applications. The evening’s event ran incredibly smoothly and concluded with some key take-aways, followed by a Q&A session.

Thank you to all those who attended and we hope that the session succeeded in providing a comprehensive overview of the whole UCAS process! We will be holding more UCAS and university application-related sessions in the future, as well as various other events such as GCSE and A-Level crash courses and career insight days.
